An alumnus of the prestigious Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad and currently the Head of Strategy at Bira91, a rapidly growing organisation producing and selling craft beer, Mr. Anubhav Modi has had a stellar career spanning an array of different challenging roles. In his current role, he formulates business strategies, implements business plans, and is in charge of organisational restructuring and fund raising (among others).

Mr. Modi was awarded his Bachelor of Business Studies (Marketing) from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, New Delhi in 2010. He then began his corporate journey with a stint in one of the “Big Four” accounting firms of the world Ernst and Young as an analyst and worked on a number of projects in procurement, supply chain management, and sales and marketing. The experience contributed significant skills and knowledge relevant to the alcohol and beverages sector aiding his current journey with Bira91.

He then took a year off his job to attend the Indian School of Business (ISB) where he actively participated in multiple events and functions of the institute. After acquiring his degree, he returned to Ernst and Young but in the new avatar of an Investment Banking Associate. In his second stint with EY, he worked on diverse projects in the infrastructure sector such as debt restructuring in highways. After that he shifted to Bira91, where he has been working ever since.

We are honoured to host Mr. Anubhav Modi at the i5 Summit 2017 and will surely be inspired and learn from the experiences that he’ll share.
