Subramanyeswar leads the Strategic Planning function of Lowe Lintas in India. He has spent two decades in advertising and marketing, having worked at Wipro, Publics Communications (as the National Planning Director), Rediffusion Y&R, and Saatchi & Saatchi in the markets of India, US and UK. Some of the leading brands and companies whose branding he has helped anchor include Citibank, Colgate, Procter & Gamble, General Mills, Renault, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, Sony Ericsson, Tata Tea, Tata Sky, Nestle and TVS.
Subramanyeswar has been awarded ‘South Asia Planner of the Year’ for two consecutive years now – 2014 and 2015 by the world renowned Campaign magazine. While at Saatchi & Saatchi, he was awarded the ‘Best Strategic Planner’ in Saatchi APAC in 2006. At Publicis, he has been credited with authoring the ‘Conversation Brief’ that the Agency used worldwide. Subramanyeswar also won numerous awards at India Effies, APAC Effies, Tambuli, Asian Marketing Effectiveness, WARC and the globally celebrated Jay Chiat by 4A’s. He has been on the jury of APAC Effies and India Effies.
A regular columnist and passionate academic, he is also a visiting faculty at the IVY League business schools IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore in India. He is a frequent speaker and delivered talks at the world famous Kellogg School of Management, Illinois and MIT Sloan, Boston in US and addressed quite a few business and marketing global forums.

His mission is to bring purpose to the world of brands and his breakthrough ‘Brand Stand/Brand Point of View’ methodology and frameworks have been adopted by many of the brands that Lowe Lintas steers in India.
